Cool, contemporary, open plan living

Transforming the original old, dated Kitchen to this magnificent, open plan, full of natural light, family living space was an absolute dream. We heavily extended the back of the house to create this amazing space. We added Velux windows to bring in more natural light together with two sets of French doors. We also added in a family dining area as well as a breakfast bar for ample entertaining space. We went for a white high gloss kitchen here with Bianco Antico Granite countertops which features a soft grey background with warm taupe and pink flecks. In addition to countertops, this beautiful granite can be used for coordinating backsplashes, accent walls and floors. We also added a window seat which again, adds a nice feature as well as additional seating for entertaining or if you want to just sit back, relax and read a good book. The walls were painted in Farrow and Balls Cornforth White, which is a very soft grey and creates a lovely contrast against the white ceilings. We put in a lot of spot lights and added a Chandelier over the breakfast bar for that touch of eleganc
