ABIT ABOUT MYSELF AND MY FAMILY

Hi, and welcome to my brand new site!

I live in Liverpool, England, where I am wife to Tim, who is an excellent Builder, Husband and Dad and Mum to 3 beautiful boys.  We have always had a passion for property, either new builds or renovations.  The boys are so used to moving from place to place (we're like Nomads!) every couple of years.  Which at times has been hard, especially when they get settled and they have to go back to living in dust, no floorboards, no kitchen etc but I think (or at least I like to think) that the journey we have been on has enhanced their lives in someway and they appreciate what hard work, imagination and a lot of hard graft can achieve.  My oldest son Ben, is now 15.  He has 1 year left before he has to make big decisions on his future career.  He has a flare for anything manual and will be an asset to our family business ventures if he so decides to join us.  My middle son Jake, well he doesn't really like to get his hands dirty, he loves his PlayStation (abit too much) and all kinds of sports.  He is in year 7 so has a fair but to go before making any future career plans.  Then last but not least our youngest son Callum.  He is full of adventure, into everything, including trying to help Dad with any projects in the house.  His first toys were a hammer, drill and screwdriver set.  He just loves anything to do with building, landscaping etc, think we have another Builder in the making!

And About me?

Well, here's a quick history.  I was born in Liverpool, England.  I went to School and left at 16 to start a career in a Solicitors as an Office Junior.  After several promotions, I eventually got a job as a Legal Secretary in a big Law firm in Liverpool town centre.  After having my first son, I left work for awhile to concentrate on being a full time Mum.  I then started a completely different career working for Clarins UK as a Skincare Specialist, which I loved.  Then after having my second child, I completely stopped work and wanted to fulfill my lifelong dream of building my own home.  I always bought the 'Build it' magazines and Home magazines and am always on Rightmove looking at homes in all parts of the World.  I love the diversity of properties that different parts of the World have to offer and absolutely love designing property layouts, room ideas with colours, fabrics accessories, which brings the whole build/renovation to a wonderful, beautiful end result being - HOME.
